Welcome to the twenty-seventh post in my year-long Cookie Series, where I want to bring you a new and delicious cookie recipe every Tuesday of 2015!
As I understand it, cookie butter is made from mashed cookies. So, if we use cookie butter (made from mashed cookies) for our cookie recipe, what would happen if I ground that up, too? We would probably end up with "No-bake Cookie Butter Cookie" Butter! Ha-ha!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cookie butter
- 2 1/2 cups dry rolled oats
- 2 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
- Melt the butter, milk and sugar in a large saucepan. Continually stir until it comes to a rolling boil. Let it boil for a minute.
- Take off of the heat. Stir in cookie butter, oats and vanilla.
- Put spoonfuls of cookie dough on a piece of parchment paper and allow them to set up.
