Mocha Bars


A no-bake fudgy brownie with caffeine.

MOCHA BARS
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. instant espresso crystals
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup marshmallow cream
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) package Oreos, crushed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped and toasted walnuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Grease a 9-by-9-by-2-inch pan.
  2. Heat the milk and espresso slowly, and mix until dissolved.
  3. Stir in the first cup of chocolate chips and marshmallow, continuing to mix.
  4. After its smooth, take off the heat and stir into a bowl with the crushed Oreos and sugar.
  5. Mix in the walnuts.
  6. Pour into the greased pan and smooth the top. 
  7. Melt the remaining chocolate chips and cream in the microwave (be careful it's not too long!) and stir.
  8. Smooth it over the top of the "batter" in the pan, and place in the fridge for an hour.
  9. When it's hard enough, divide it into small pieces.
  10. Keep in the fridge. Enjoy!
