Refrigerator Oatmeal

Refrigerator Oatmeal can be adapted to the ingredients you already have and your personal preferences. It's easy to make and even easier to eat! 

You don't even have to bother with cooking the oats; they soften in the liquid overnight! Hooray!



There's lots of different ways to make the recipe your own!*
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup milk, white or almond
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chia
  • Additional ingredients*

  1. Put all of the basic ingredients into a pint jar.
  2. Add the extra ingredients.*
  3. Screw on the lid and shake it up.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.

*Once you put the basic ingredients into a jar, try one of these:

1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. preserves
1/4 - 1/3 cup halved berries, fresh or frozen

1/8 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. honey
1/4 cup mango

1/4 cup blueberries
2 tsp. maple syrup

1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. syrup
1/4 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. honey
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup diced apple, optional
