Crock Pot Honey Garlic Chicken

What's the first thing you think of when you read the word "chicken"?

You might have thought of a beautiful farm with a big white house, a red barn and a picket fence.

You might have thought of delicious eggs.

You might have even thought of the song "Old MacDonald".

I thought of a German chicken yodeler.

  • Any chicken, 3 leg quarter/2 legs
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. oregano

  1. Put all of the ingredients together in a plastic freezer bag.
  2. Freeze until ready to use*.
  3. To use, put the contents of the bag in a crock pot and allow to cook 6-8 hours on low.
*Note: This recipe can be cooked right away, frozen as mentioned, or frozen and then thawed in the fridge the night before. It's hard to mess up!
