Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Our cookies contained chocolate chips
and pieces from a bar of chocolate.
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups bananas, mashed
  • 12 ounces chocolate
  • 1/2 cup nuts, optional

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Sift the flour, soda and salt into a bowl and set aside.
  3. Cream the butter and the sugars.
  4. Add the vanilla and eggs.
  5. Mix in the bananas.
  6. Stir in the chocolate and nuts if desired.
  7. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes, or until the edges are browned.
