Cool Whip Cookies

Welcome to the twenty-sixth post in my year-long Cookie Series, where I want to bring you a new and delicious cookie recipe every Tuesday of 2015!

These cookie are easy. No, seriously. Some cookies labeled "easy" might seem hard compared to this recipe.

Beyond buying a tub of cookie dough or already made cookies from the store, these are about as easy as they get.

They only have three ingredients, but they taste delicious. Our cookies turned out soft, chocolaty and oh-so-good.

Hopefully I have made you excited about these cookies. Maybe you're even ready to get in the kitchen and bake your very own batch right now. But I have something to tell you.

Take a seat, it's time for the moment of truth. Yes, these cookies contain only three ingredients. But this is because of something that I have kept hidden from you until now. These recipes contain...

Boxed cake mix!

*gasp*

Please don't cry. Just because a cookie has boxed cake mix in it doesn't mean that it's not homemade. It just means that it's not from scratch.

It also means that you can use it to make the easiest cookie recipe I have ever tried.

Some chefs probably despise boxed cake mix, but I'm not a chef. Don't get me wrong, I love making things from scratch, but once you give these cookies a try, you'll probably agree with me that these cookies are well worth all their pre-packaged-ness.

You don't have to try these cookies if you don't want to. It's you're choice. You're a big kid now, and I know you will make the decision that's best for you.
