This recipe for Irish Soda Bread is quick and easy.
It doesn't require a mixer, kneading or time to rise.
It's basically a batter that can turn into a loaf of bread.
It's awesome.

IRISH SODA BREAD
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
DIRECTIONS:

- Preheat oven to 325.
- Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan.
- Melt the butter and set aside.
- Lightly beat the buttermilk and egg together. Set aside.
- Put the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large bowl and mix together.
- Add the butter and buttermilk/egg mixture to the bowl.
- Stir together.
- Pour the batter/dough into the greased pan.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
