Cowgirl Cookies


Welcome to the sixth post in my year-long Cookie Series, where I want to bring you a new and delicious cookie recipe every Tuesday of 2015!

Howdy, Partner! Last week I posted a recip-ay for Cowboy Cookies, but who's to be forgetten them lady folk, too? A lady ought to have her fair share of cookie names, I always do say.

So here it be, a right and propa' recipe-ay for tha' ladies:

COWGIRL COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 mini chocolate
  • 3/4 cup M&M's

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream the margarine and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir in the oats, pecans, chocolate and M&M's.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes.
